Indiana University Health is expanding its footprint into the southwest area of Fort Wayne with the construction of a 40,000-square-foot outpatient surgery center as step two of its plan to offer more services to the community.

The ASC is expected to open in September 2021 and will include five fully equipped operating rooms, five procedure rooms, and overnight capabilities for more than 10 different specialties including:

• Colorectal Surgery

• Gynecology

• Neurosurgery

• Ophthalmology

• Otolaryngology (ENT)

• Pain Medicine

• Pediatric Surgery

• Ocular Plastic Surgery

• Podiatry

The center is the fifth project IU Health has proposed or opened in Fort Wayne, including three primary care offices and two urgent care centers.
