The New Haven High School modernization project is a comprehensive renovation of 202,714 sf and a 102,885 sf addition to an existing 1974 building.  The renovation modernizes every space of the building and the addition will add 27 classrooms to accommodate the addition of grades seven and eight to the high school campus.

Challenges included providing an aesthetic and functional design on a tight budget and aggressive schedule. The schedule of the project had to take into account the faculty, staff and students and what would cause the least amount of disruption throughout the school year all while keeping the safety of everyone during the construction a top priority.
