Project Description:

As a significant student destination on Campus, the University of Notre Dame wanted to make an investment to preserve the 100+-year-old structure.  Moake Park was engaged to address the existing roof and skylight’s ongoing maintenance issues that were causing major water problems and affecting the structural integrity of the atrium walls.

The original skylight was located below the adjacent roof, creating a bathtub drainage scenario.  Our solution carefully raised the skylight above the adjacent roof areas while preserving and enhancing the finishes and architecture of the atrium.
